Welcome to Simply Neat
My goal is to make this process feel simple, thoughtful, and completely tailored to your home and routines.
-
Every home and every client is different, so there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. I focus on creating systems that are simple, functional, and realistic to maintain long-term. We’ll work together to determine what’s working, what isn’t, and create a space that makes sense for your home, your routines, and the way you actually live.
-
There are a wide variety of services that may be included during our time together, and as we go, we’ll determine what makes the most sense for your space and your project.
Depending on your needs, services may include decluttering & editing, categorizing & organizing belongings, space planning & creating functional systems, product recommendations & sourcing, storage or cabinetry planning, and labeling within the areas we’re organizing.
-
We’ll start by talking through your goals for the space and any specific challenges you’re experiencing. From there, we’ll create a plan! Most projects start with sorting, editing & decluttering, followed by finding the best home for each category.
I’ll then put systems in place that make the space easier to use and maintain. If products, storage solutions, or additional design work would improve the space, I’ll make recommendations along the way.
-
I’m a firm believer that not every project requires new products. I always prefer to work with what you already have when it makes sense. And if you’re looking for that “Pinterest-perfect pantry,” we can absolutely do that too! But the editing, decluttering & sorting will always come first.
If additional organizers, storage solutions, or other products would improve the function of your space, I can recommend and source options that fit your needs, your space, and your overall aesthetic. Product and material costs are separate from Simply Neat’s hourly services.
-
Everything in life needs a little maintenance. Even the most functional, easy-to-use systems need some upkeep because, well… life happens! The more you work with your systems, the easier maintaining them becomes.
After your initial project, maintenance sessions are available for existing clients who would like ongoing help keeping their spaces organized. These can include routine refreshes, seasonal wardrobe changes, storage updates, or larger resets as your needs change.
The great part about maintenance sessions is that they usually don’t require nearly as much work as the initial organizing session. Unless we decide a bigger reset is needed, most spaces can get back to normal with a quick tidy, refresh, and putting everything back where it belongs.
What You Can Expect
Organizing & Design Services
Simply Neat services are billed at $75/hour. There is no session minimum or required package- we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you and your project.
Your hourly rate applies to the time spent working on your project, which may include hands-on organizing, space planning, product sourcing, design work, project coordination, and other services specific to your space.
For larger projects, a two-person team is available at $125/hour, allowing us to accomplish more in less time.
Additional Costs
Organizing products, storage solutions, materials, contractor labor, installation, and other third-party services are not included in the hourly rate. Any additional purchases or outside services will always be discussed with you before moving forward.
Investment
-
Payment is due at the end of each organizing session and can be made by cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle. Any products or materials purchased on your behalf will be added to your final total or invoiced separately.
-
Life happens, and I completely understand that. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I just ask that you give me as much notice as possible. Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee.
-
You do not need to clean or organize before I arrive — that’s what I’m there for! We’ll work together when decisions are needed, but you don’t necessarily need to be by my side for every part of the process. As we get to know each other and your preferences, I’m happy to work independently when appropriate.
-
As we declutter, we’ll sort items for donation, disposal, relocation, or anything you’d like to pass along to family or friends. I’m happy to take clothing, smaller household items, and other manageable donations with me at the end of our session and handle the drop-off for you.
For larger pieces or furniture items, I’m happy to help coordinate other donation, pickup, or removal options.
-
For projects that require installation, repairs, custom cabinetry, moving services, or other specialized work, I may recommend trusted contractors or vendors. Any work performed by a third party is arranged and billed separately from Simply Neat’s services.

I love documenting transformations, but your privacy always comes first. I will never share identifying or personal information about your home. If I’d like to photograph or share a completed space for Simply Neat’s portfolio or social media, we’ll discuss it first.
